Description

The documentary Ballplayer: Pelotero follows two young baseball players, or peloteros, in the Dominican Republic. They work to get signed by a Major League Baseball club when they become eligible on their 16th birthday. Directed by Ross Finkel, Trevor Martin and Jon Paley, the film is executive produced by Boston Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine.
