James Redfield's novel The Celestine Prophecy introduced millions to new age spirituality during the early nineties. Redfield has scripted an adaptation with Barnet Bain for a feature film directed by Armand Mastroianni. The story is a parable about a man searching for a long-lost manual in the rainforests of Peru. The manuscript is said to contain important insights about humans. The film stars Thomas Kretschmann, Sarah Wayne Callies and Matthew Settle.
