Samuel L. Jackson stars as Romulus Ledbetter in the screen adaptation of George Dawes Green's popular novel . The story focuses on former family man and Juliard- trained musician, Romulus Ledbetter, who is now homeless, mentally-ill and living in a cave in New York City. One day he discovers a corpse that leads him on a manic quest for answers and eventually back into the 'civilized world.'
Scott Frank (Get Shorty, Out of Sight) will adapt the pyscho-suspensful novel for the screen. The 1996 film, The Juror, starring Demi Moore and Alec Baldwin was another film adapted from a George Dawes Green novel.
