Jet Li and DMX star in the crime-thriller Cradle to the Grave, a loose remake of the classic thriller M . The 1931 German Expressionist thriller by Fritz Lang was first remade in 1951. Li plays a cop who teams with a suspected diamond thief (DMX) to rescue the thief's daughter, who's been kidnapped by a criminal mastermind. The film is directed by Andrzek Bartkowiak, who made Exit Wounds and Romeo Must Die. Reginald Blythewood makes his screenwriting debut. Warner Bros. handles distribution of the Silver Pictures production.
