Description

The Ethiopian film Difret focuses on the case of a 14-year-old girl who killed her kidnapper. The man had abducted her to be his wife according to tradition. Directed by Zeresenay Berhane Mehari, the film which won the World Cinema Dramatic Audience Award at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Truth Aid distributes.
