While on the campaign trail for re-election, the President of the United States must take shelter in a small Colorado diner during a freak snow storm.
As the President and his entourage wait for the storm to pass, they discover that Iran has invaded Kuwait, and has slaughtered hundreds of American troops in the process.
As the United States enters a nuclear stand-off with Iran, the patrons in the diner voice their political opinions.
Deterrence stars Kevin Pollack as President Emerson, and also features Timothy Hutton, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Sean Astin.
