Facing Window is a love story set in Rome from Turkish director Ferzan Ozpetek, who co-scripted with Gianni Romoli. A lonely, young mother and her neighbor start a romance after they both befriend an elderly Jewish gentleman. The man is a Holocaust survivor whose gay lover had died in the camps. The film was a hit in Italy.
