Description

The Golden Door is a dramatic story of immigration set in 1913. A Sicilian peasant family immigrates to America in hopes of finding a better life. Their journey is beset with hardship and they encounter more difficulty once they arrive at Ellis Island. The film is written and directed by Emanuele Crialese.
