Description

The documentary film Gonzo is based on the biography of the late Hunter S. Thompson and covers his most provocative and controversial years from 1965 and 1975. The documentary also looks at Thompson’s disdain for crooked politicians and his quest to right the ills of society. Footage includes Jimmy Carter, George McGovern, Pat Buchanan, Jimmy Buffett and Ralph Steadman. Johnny Depp narrated the film directed by Alex Gibney.
