Description

Happy Times is a Chinese romantic comedy from director Zhang Yimou (Raise the Red Lantern, The Road Home). The film follows a man who goes to the matchmaker for help finding a wife. When setup with the perfect match, he promises a gift that is expensive beyond his means. Desperate, he cooks up a scheme to make money. The film is distributed by Sony Picture Classics.
