Wes Craven directs a fictionalized account of the 1996 Oscar nominated documentary Small Wonders. Meryl Streep stars as Roberta Guaspari-Tzavaras, an East Harlem violin teacher to underprivileged children. By teaching her students to love and understand music, she shares with them her talent with the violin.
When the music program at the school is cut she takes it up herself to find a way to continue to instruct her students. Hall with some of the best classical musicians in the world.
