Best known for her role as Callisto on Xena: Warrior Princess, Hudson Leick began her career as a model before developing her acting skills at New York City's famed Neighborhood Playhouse. Leick landed her first television role in 1991, starring in the made-for-TV film Sexual Considerations, followed by TV work on such shows as Knight Rider 2010 and Melrose Place. The Cincinnati native first appeared on Xena in 1995, and stayed with the show until 1998. In 1999, Leick made a transition to film, landing a role opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. and Skeet Ulrich in Chill Factor.
