Description

The Guatemalan film Ixcanul (Volcano) follows a poor Mayan couple who runs away from servitude at a coffee plantation in hopes of a better life in the United States. The feature debut from writer-director Jayro Bustamante won the Silver Bear at the 2015 Berlinale.
