Judge Reinhold got his start in theater and on television throughout the 70s.
In 1982, Reinhold landed his first big role in Amy Heckerling's Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the quintessential high school movie of the eighties which also starred Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Phoebe Cates.
Reinhold follwed up with roles in the Beverly Hills Cop films, which were enormously popular (at least the first two) and made Eddie Murphy one of the most successful actors of the eighties.
Continuing in the comedic vain as the slightly dim but always earnest guy, Reinhold starred in some hits like Ruthless People but was saddled by more misses as the years went on.
He wisely kept up his exposure through TV appearances on shows like "Seinfeld" (on the close talker episode) and "Ellen."
In 1999, Reinhold will appear on the big screen in Enemies of Laughter also starring Peter Falk, Jennifer Grey, and Bruno Kirby.
