King's Ransom is a comedy-thriller about three orphans-turned-acrobats-turned-thieves, who pull off robberies in an art museum and a Reno casino, among other locations. The film reunites Chow Yun-Fat (Anna and the King) with director John Woo (Mission: Impossible 2) for their first American production. The plot sounds eerily similar to their previous Hong Kong collaboration Once A Thief. Their other efforts include such classics as A Better Tomorrow, The Killer, and Hard Boiled.
