Laurence Fishburne -- actor, writer, producer, and now director -- has adapted his play Riff Raff and made it into a feature film by the name of Once in the Life. Fishburne handled the directing duties along with writing the screenplay.
Once in the Life is a story about a person who's been a lifelong criminal but finally repents. However, before he can begin his new life, he must commit one more crime.
The film stars Laurence Fishburne along with Sue Costello, Gregory Hines, Titus Welliver, Eamonn Walker, Dominic Chianese Jr., Paul Calderone, and Annabella Sciorra. The soundtrack features songs from Guru of Gangstarr and KRS-1.
