Description

The musical Passing Strange follows a young Africa-American musican looking to find 'the real' after being brought up in a middle-class Los Angeles neighborhood. His journey includes artistic and personal awakenings. Director Spike Lee filmed the second to last performance of the musical in July of 2008.
