Matthew Perry will star in the Paramount film Servicing Sara. The Midnight Run-esque comedy is about a process server who gets talked into delivering divorce papers for a woman to her cattle baron husband. Elizabeth Hurley is in talks to take a role in the film set to begin production in November, 2000.
Reginald Hudlin (The Ladies Man) directs while Dan Halsted, Oliver Stone and Peter Guber produce through Illusion Entertainment and Mandalay Pictures. Screenwriters Carol Leifer and Chuck Martin are former writers for the sitom Seinfeld. Perry recently appeared in the hit movie The Whole Nine Yards and will still continue work on Friends as Chandler.
