In the comedy Tao of Steve, the character Dex does not cut an impressive physical figure, yet this philosophy-spewing slacker is an expert in the art of seduction.
He woos women with his nimble brain and facile tongue and not with his physical appearance or his station in life. He finds he can charm any woman until, that is, he meets a former college friend. His handbook of seduction fails him as he has finally met his match.
Instead of seducing her, he discovers that he in turn is being ensnared by her and led by her on a journey of self-enlightenment.
