Yet another 1999 remake of a horror classic, House on Haunted Hill stars Geoffrey Rush as an eccentric millionaire who bribes a group of people to spend the night in a former insane asylum. As the night progresses, the haunting tales that the group had so readily dismissed suddenly become a lot more believable. Famke Janssen stars opposite Rush, as the millionaire's love interest, while the victims of Haunted Hill include Taye Diggs, Peter Gallagher, Ali Larter, Bridgette Wilson and Lisa Loeb.
The original film, also titled House on Haunted Hill, was released in 1958, and starred Vincent Price.
