The One is the story of an evil-doer who realize he can become stronger if he kills himself in all the parallel universes that exist out there. Jet Li plays the lead in the multiple doppelganger role. James Wong (Final Destination) directs the sci-fi thriller produced by Joe Roth's new production company Revolution Studios. Columbia Pictures will distribute the film. Carla Gugino, Delroy Lindo and Jason Statham co-star.
The One was previously known as The Rock Movie until Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson dropped out September 2000 to do The Scorpion King.
