Based on a novel by Eduardo Sacheri, the Argentine thriller The Secret in Their Eyes centers on a retired criminal court worker investigating a past murder for a book. He realizes the real killer was never caught and embarks on a mission to find him. The film flashes back between the present and the 1970s and highlights Argentina’s flawed justice system. Ricardo Darin, Soledad Villamil, Pablo Rago, Javier Godino and Guillermo Francella star in the film from director Juan Jose Campanella.
