Friends Jackie O'Shea (Ian Bannen) and Michael O'Sullivan (David Kelly) have a knack for getting into trouble. The pair have dreamed about winning the national lottery for years. In their insular Irish village of Tulaigh Morh, even a small sum would go very far.
The men get fired up when they find out that someone in the village has a winning ticket. They think that they can figure out who the winner is and can convince the person to share the wealth.
"Ned" marks the debut of writer/director Kirk Jones.
