First trailer for Jem and the Holograms

Universal has uploaded the global trailer for the live-action adaptation of the '80s cartoon Jem and the Holograms [JEMHG] directed by Jon M. Chu [JCHU].  Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau and Hayley Kiyoko star as four aspiring musicians who are catapulted from online video sensation to superstardom.  Stripped of real holograms and rival band The Misfits, Jem has been turned into a slightly older Hannah Montana.  Jem and the Holograms drops in theaters on October 23rd.
