CBS Films was launched by Les Moonves, the CEO of CBS Corp., as a new pipeline of content for their pay cable channel Showtime. Ironically, their first release Extraordinary Measures [XMEAS] has the feel of a made-for-TV movie. Brendan Fraser [BFRAS] plays the real-life John Crowley, who teams up with a doctor played by Harrison Ford [HFORD], to find a cure for his daughter's terminal disease. You know a feel good storyline is being driven home, when they pump up the music from Creed, or some other band I can't tell them apart from.
