Sony has released the teaser trailer for the remake of the western The Magnificent Seven [MAGN7], which itself was a remake of The Seven Samurai. Directed by Antoine Fuqua [AFUQU], The Magnificent Seven rides into theaters on September 23rd.
With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard [PSARS]), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington [DWASH]), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt [CPRAT]), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke [EHAWK]), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio [VDONO]), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee [BHLEE]), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.
