Last weekend's top film, The War with Grandpa [WARGP] finished second with $2.5 million, holding an exceptional 69% from its debut. The family film has earned $7.25 million.
In its seventh outing, Tenet [TENET.BW] clocked in another $1.6 million, bringing its total to $50.6 million.
Despite opening in 1683 theaters, 2 Hearts [2HRTS] pumped out just $565K. The romance skewed heavily female at 76%.
Paramount decided to open Love and Monsters [MNSTP] day-n-date in theaters and on VOD. The fantasy film grossed $255K from 387 locations.
Dumped by Sony with no marketing, The Kid Detective [KIDET] nabbed a $135K opening in 865 theaters.
