Official trailer for The Nutcracker in 3D

The classic E.T.A. Hoffmann story best known for inspiring the music from the Piotr Tchaikovsky ballet has gone steampunk in the latest feature adaptation of The Nutcracker [NUTCR], which will of course be in 3D.  As revealed in the official U.S. trailer on Apple, the Nutcracker is a Pinocchio-like little boy while the Rat King and his minions are humaniods who possess technology far more adavanced than the Victorian Age.
