IFC Films has unveiled the official trailer for the French drama The Taste of Things [POTAF] aka Pot-Au-Feu. Juliette Binoche [JBINO] and Benoît Magimel star in the film directed by Tran Anh Hung, who won the directing award at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The Taste of Things will have an Oscar-qualifying theatrical run in December before opening in limited release on February 9, 2024.
Set in France in 1889, the film follows the life of Dodin Bouffant as a chef living with his personal cook and lover Eugénie. They share a long history of gastronomy and love but Eugénie refuses to marry Dodin, so the food lover decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her.
