New trailer for The Color Purple

Warner Bros. has released a second trailer for the musical The Color Purple [TCPRP]  adapted from the novel by Alice Walker and based on the musical stage play by Marsha Norman with music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis and Stephen Bray.  Taraji P. Henson,  Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, H.E.R. Halle Bailey, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and  Fantasia Barrino star in the film  directed by Blitz Bazawule. The Color Purple opens in theaters on CHristmas Day.
