The debut set a Sony and franchise record, topping Spider-Man: No Way Home’s $260.1 million. The superhero sequel will also lead the biggest overall weekend ever at more than $425 million.
After two weeks at the top, The Odyssey [ODYSE] finished second at $51.0 million. The fantasy epic has accumulated $355.0 million.
Moana [MOAN1] brought home another $5.30 million, bringing its total to $114.78 million after 4 weekends.
Hadestown: The Musical [HDSTW] tumbled 80% from its debut to $2.0 million for a cumulative sum of $18.20 million.
The Invite [TINVT] took in $1.24 million to advance its total to $22.78 million.
I Want Your Sex [IWYSX] debuted with $600K from 700 theaters.
