Summit has a blockbuster franchise that’s powered by an audience that’s 80% female. The romance earned over $10 million this past Monday and Tuesday. Even with a weekend drop-off of 60%, New Moon may stake another $70 million over the five-day Thanksgiving holiday.

A romance is set against a fictionalized account in the last days of Leo Tolstoy, the Russian writer and "War and Peace" novelist. The drama boasts an impressive cast of Christopher Plummer [CPLUM], Helen Mirren [HMIRR], Paul Giamatti [PGIAM] and James McAvoy [JMCAV].
The Last Station will begin a one-week Oscar run on Dec 4th before opening in release on January 15th, 2010.
