How would Jim Carrey's [JCARR] comedic antics translate if he were playing gay? Turns out pretty much the same as a straight character as seen in the French trailer for I Love You, Phillip Morris [ILUPM]. Carrey plays Steven Russell, a married man who turns con man to fuel a new extravagant lifestyle as a gay man. Caught and sent to prison, he falls for cellmate Phillip Morris, played by Ewan McGregor [EMCGR]. When Morris gets released, the lovestruck Russell breaks out of prison in...

Fans promptly greeted the new installment with a princely sum of $58.3 million on Wednesday, the fourth biggest single day ever at the box office. So much for the call of boycott when Warner Bros. pushed back the November release date last year. The delay wound up helping build the anticipation even more for the sixth film in the series. Hormones are raging at Hogwarts even...

Making her directorial debut, Drew Barrymore [DBARR] has assembled a formidable female cast that includes Kristen Wiig [KWIIG], Juliette Lewis [JLEWI], Marcia Gay Harden [MGHAR], Zoe Bell and Eve. The ladies appears to be having fun in the sports comedy, which is sorta like Bring It On, only for the punk, feminist crowd.

However, Bruno was extremely front-loaded, opening to $14.5 million on Friday before dropping 39% to $8.8 million on Saturday. The gay Austrian does not seem to have the word of mouth staying power of the Kazakh reporter.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs [ICEA3] grossed $28.5...
