Ok, someone explain this to me.

I know the most likely response is, "it's not logical."  But if someone actually has some reason for this type of movement, it would help my strategy quite a bit.

Take for example yesterday's IPO, Bellflower.  Everyone in the world shorted it at release.  17+ millioni shares shorted.  It has traded almost 4 million in volume today.  And it has GONE UP over .50.  How?  The total number of long shares is UNDER the 4 million in volume today.  So not everyone is buying it long.  And even if they did, how did the 4 million in volume today override 17+ million who shorted it???  It baffles me.
