The performance of several timely, prominent and expensive securities today has been inexplicable.
This has become a pattern, and it appears to have engaged seasoned players (because newer players are unlikely to steer the course of $100 and $200 stocks). The pump-and-dump penny stocks also exhibit inexplicable movements, but the consequences are measured in pennies.
I wonder whether this was the intended result of rules changes. I wonder whether these inexplicable swings incline participation. I notice that nearly every portfolio I pass as I move through the mid-200s LTD is an abandoned portfolio.
On the bright side, I made more than H$1 million today with a single trade on a single security that had no business jumping to such extremes.
