If I started my account today, at 12 noon. I would wait and see what the news holds and invest in those stocks. I would also look at the
calls and puts for next week. As far the openers go, I would wait to go for them either at reset to see which way they are moving (they tend to yoyo Monday thru Thursday). If I do not want to go for the openers yet, I would wait to make a move on them on Friday around noon to 12:50p est. I would also check out their calls and puts. I would check for small bonds, like $20 or less that adjust next week. If I do invest in them, I want a NICE return as it is an investment that locks up cash for about a week.
I like to be liquid when I am building a small port. To me, the absolute strongest investment is in a stock that has news on it.
