i appreciate the help, i'm very new to this game and i agree that i do not deserve any more help than anyone else on the board. I haven't had the game for more than 4 days so I haven't seen a full week cycle of a movie delisting or whatever (i didn't even know that it was halted on the opening till 10 hours ago rofl) but yeah, i've been reading theampersand.net
I think my question does have value though, because shorting a stock of a movie, is different from placing a put option on its derivative is it not? I mean maybe I feel H2 deserves its stock price of $48 or whatever, but i may not necessarily believe that it will make H$20 mil in theaters over the weekend. Thus placing a put on its derivative is a good option?
That's all i wanted clarification with. Whether he was recommending a put on the derivative or a short on the stock as a whole, which I guess I will find out in hindsight over the weekend from trial and error.
