completely disagree with the message part (and don't take that personally ;))
Stuff that jumps "big" (particularly the ones that move based on no news) starts turning throughout the day.
If you took a snapshot of the top movers list every hour of the day since 8am EST you'd see how much that list generally moves throughout.
The top mover of today for example was CLUE for most of the day since reset. 3 stocks currently moved above it. And another 3-4 or more will probably overtake it by the end of the trading day (as it has gone down from its highs today).
All of that being the long way of saying the top movers of the day can turn at any time of the day and generally does it before reset and not at reset.

The reason is that reset traders get in first and set the tone of the movement for the day. Aug 25, 13:29
