Here are ideas for downtrend:

1.  The stock reached a ceiling where there no longer buyers and selling steps in

2.  The Spiderman IPO: traders looking to free up capital 

3.  Take a look at past 3-4 months a lot of major big name IPOS such as Pirates, Transformers, etc that have not had any news hence selling stepped in.

4.  Overall sentiment of traders is that prices have to be corrected hence the downtrend.

5.  Regarding downtrend or any trend key is to confirm the trend and wait for support/resistance points.
