I think that in the time between friday evening and saturday morning you can still make decent cash with nearly no risk.
For example this weekend you could have grabbed ABDUC at a $38 when the estimates were talking about a $11M weekend (ergo ABDUC would roughly adjust to $30 which is a nice gain). And that applies to the other openers this weekend, too.
In my (little) experience here on HSX, I think most movies are overpriced before they open. Do not buy movies because you think the stars on the cast make this a guaranteed hit.
And for the ones, that really surprise at the box office (THELP for example), there is still enough time to buy them when they rise to make a decent profit.
Also I would advise you to look out for the ADJUS fund when it lists again on HSX. It's basically a fund only playing openers and always has amazing results. Considering his picks, which may change several times throughout an opening weekend, will definitely improve your skills playing openers.
