adjusted prices - not linked to hsx forecast?

Is the adjusted price based on actual o/weekend box office to give a rough estimate of the 4 weeks box office (o/weekend box office * multiplier 2.7)? Effectively, if I am trying to see if the HSX predictions are accurate, I will be comparing HSX Halt price vs Actual Total Domestic Box office? Adjusted prices are just for an early rough estimate but doesn't link to HSX predictions in any way?
