Interesting. Are you getting a feed from HSX for the prices, or grabbing it yourself? Also, a note about your tip:

in your price erosion section, you seem to be operating under the assumption that price movement from buying/selling shares is based off of %. I may be reading it wrong, but in your example, you say buying 100k shares of x stock at 100 H$ causes the price to move up a certain %, 20% in your hypothetical, or 20 H$. Conversely, selling 100k shares of x stock after that initlal buy (where its price is now 120) drops the price the same fixed 20%, whcih in this case is 24 H$.

In my experience, this is not the case. The price (special sauce brakes notwithstanding) moves based on actual cent values, not % values. Using your example, buying 100k of x stock at 100 H$ might have it move up to 120 H$, but then subsequently selling 100k of x stock at 120 H$ will drop it the same 20 H$ back to 100. I have never seen a stock move 100k shares in both directions at the same time and have the stock end up LOWER in value than it initially started at (again, brake sauce notwithstanding). Either the stock will net out with no gain, or it will actually end up on the PLUS side after the equal shares have been processed.

Last night at reset, I sold 100k shares of a stock priced around 50. I was surprised to see that it had not moved 20 minutes after I made the trade, so I looked at the stock page, and 200,015 shares of the stock had been traded since reset. That means that someone else had bought or covered 100k shares at reset, offsetting my purchase and resulting in zero movement. And someone else had moved a negligible 15 shares.

not sure how it works here, IRL, the bid and ask differences get larger with the stock price, so price erosion is a factor. {nm} jwammo May 24, 16:08

Here, the amount that a stock goes up (or down) does scale with price, but the price tiers at which the scaling occurs is unknown by me. Paul2k May 24, 16:40
