Here, the amount that a stock goes up (or down) does scale with price, but the price tiers at which the scaling occurs is unknown by me.

Buying 100k of a 2 dollar stock may only move it a penny or two, while buying 100k of a 10 or 20 dollar stock may move it 8-10 cents. And buying a stock worth 200 dollars may move it 20-40 cents per 100k.

And, as I said in my previous post, unscientific experience on my part shows that buying and then selling (or usually, covering, then reshorting in order to free up money) either nets out to no change, or a slight positive uptick of 1-5 cents. So if anything, there seems to be a slight bump given to trades that would cause a positive movement (buy/cover) versus trades that would cause negative movement (sell/short)
