Just a quick thought about the new .BW warrants....Normally, the HW season would have had 12. AVNGR.BW is now the 12th of the new series.
How have the first 11 gone? Only 3 deleisted at zero, far less than the normal 50pct or more.
Of the 7 that delisted, so far, they have averaged 28.37
HGAME is ARB, and throuh Wed, would delist at over 46 with 2 more weekends to go, but probably only 1-2M more in box.
AVNGR is just starting its 8 week post-delist run, but I seriously do not see it pulling down the average.
Some folks have questioned the reason for the new system, but 3 good things that have come out of it are:
1) Better strike prices, generated after initial opening weekend totals are known
2) A full 12 week run for every .BW to squeeze every H$ out of the release
3) No .BW for movies that would have been big disappointments, as there were in the past.
