Your timing was just off bud. I've seen this happen with IPOs before (but never caught it so right). Way up in less than a day...

then the sellers sell and the day traders short. Then, right before reset (or after), both groups flip. So back to green again. I've only seen this happen so drastically with "sure thing" IPOs (although, never yet with animated sure things) and this was the first time I caught it right. Maybe it's more of a director thing?

Reset really ticks me off. I wake up at 3:30 this morning. FIgured I'd check reset. and the IPO from yesterday is down almost 4 bucks... Dorfman Jul 06, 08:59

Actually, I was talking about Friday's IPO ad also about 2 days out. That day 1 movement is too sketchy for my liking for flips. {nm} CrockettsMafiaYTD2014 Jul 06, 09:32

yeah it was 30 mins after reset and said 3mil vol traded already. was down almost $4. Seemed like a sure thing IPO with 78m long and only Dorfman Jul 06, 13:27

Do you use the HSX Daily Movements site, I've noticed there is a change on many stocks in the morning when people wake up (US time), so mayb JDolphin Jul 06, 14:05

Also if you use Port Monkey you can click on the "Today" column value for a given stock to get its graph {nm} slappydavid Jul 06, 16:33
