All of this is IMHO in general in America IMHO we would rather be entertained with action then to actually have to think. I agree a lot of independent low budget films are far better than the ones that get all the hype but most of us are in the minority. Those that control the capital only care about the PROFIT not the content. It is what it is and you can choose to deal with it or get control of the capital and change it. For the better I hope.
