For the number crunchers - I'm interested in learning how you project the OW from Friday #s, and particularly how you treat the Thursday #s
I generally do things the obvious way - take the Friday #s less the Thursday #s, and then apply a multiplier based on the IM of a similar movie, so Thursday + Friday * IM estimate = OW estimate
But I can also take the Friday-Thursday #s, apply a multiplier (based on the Friday less Thursday to Saturday ratio of a similar movie) to estimate a Saturday, apply a second (similarly calculated) multiplier to the Saturday estimate to get a Sunday estimate and then the total of the four days is the OW estimate. (When I do this, I usually get a bigger # for the OW estimate than I do using the first method)
And with either method, I could always count the Thursday #s as part of Friday, and just do the calculations that way.
I'm just wondering what methods other traders use, and which ones you find more accurate.
