Latest Star Wars IPO, number of shares

This saturday they released the IPO for the latest (Star Wars IX) chapter of Star Wars. On the announcement page it mentioned "200,000,000 shares will be released." I watched them disappear all day - and when I woke up Sunday morning, we had 216.000,000 shares owned.


My question is simple, if only 200,000,000 shares are to be released, how did we get above that number in ownership? Are these release bulletins not trustworthy?
