In my opinion this short strategy means you need to be paying attention to movie news to catch the ones that flip
Most movies trend downward very slowly because most are projects that are idle, no news, no forward progress.
But almost every day there's one or two that get some movement and months of decline can more than be reversed in a few hours of trading, and if you don't catch it you end up losing the gains.

the gains made from shorting that movie are lost in less than a day every time news is posted about it.
A low priced movie like that when it gets a wide release announced can jump up H$10 or more pretty quick nullifying the gains of many other slow bleeders. So in my opinion the mass-short strategy is great if you watch the news closely, not so great if you only play a couple days per week.
