hmm. theres a lot to discuss. not sure why you are thinking the way you are, but my take...
1. where are you getting sub 40 for 3 day? the update that came in yesterday had it at 12.5M thursday, with an overal 4 day of 53-55M. that would leave a 40.5-42.5M 3 day. lets see what the updates are later today.
2. Some players think it will do even better than 53-55M for the 4 days
3. its a well-recieved Speilberg film. they tend to have good legs.
4. there is no adjust anymore, but lets use the old formula just to help us out a bit:
it was previous + (weekend* 2.7)
so as of last nights numbers: 12.5+ (42.5*2.7)= 127.25.
5. but important to keep in mind. these were very early projections, and will likely change as the weekend goes on
